It's a good year so far. I'll be researching barnacles in the fall for my sabbatical. I'm looking forward to the time off and the time to do research.
Also I got reviews back on a manuscript revision and it should (with more revisions) be heading off to being published in the next 6 months. Woohoo!

Awesome! Congrats on the sabbatical; it sounds interesting! Although, now I wonder if you're afraid of animals that move more than a few inches a day...
This is on top of your other, more fitness-related, biological activities? That'll be really busy for you, so you've probably made a wise choice with something sessile.
